CAMH is committed to keeping our communities, neighbours and staff informed about the progress of the Queen Street Redevelopment Project.
This month, we continue to advance our work on the above ground structure (referred to as above grade work) at both construction locations — the McCain Complex Care and Recovery Building (located between Lower Ossington and Shaw Park) and the Crisis and Critical Care Building (located between White Squirrel Way and Gordon Bell Road). This work involves the pouring of concrete slabs above grade, and continuing tunnel work. In addition, plywood forming is being installed (which will eventually form walls) and elevator shafts have now been erected at both sites.
