We’re so excited to have kicked off the fourth and final phase of our historic redevelopment! It’s been a busy start to 2024 at our Queen Street site.
We’ve already started construction activities for the Discovery Centre, the new home of CAMH Research on the southeast corner of the site.
We have moved up the timelines for starting work on the Secure Care & Recovery Building, the new home of the Forensic Mental Health program.
Fencing has already gone up to mobilize the construction zone. Tree removal and soil testing in the construction zone is complete. The next step is to clean up and replace contaminated soil along the south border of the construction zone, which will then expand across White Squirrel Way (see map).
