As Medical Director of the Ontario Psychiatric Outreach Program (OPOP), I would like to welcome you to our program website. Since its inception in 1999, OPOP has been a unique contributor to mental health services in Ontario communities that are considered remote and underserved. We look forward to continued collaboration with our mental health care colleagues, family physicians and community representatives in underserved areas in Ontario. We also look forward to developing new partnerships with other organizations and agencies in northern Ontario.
OPOP, funded by the Ministry of Health's Underserviced Area Program, relies on the collaboration and interest of its programs, the Northern Psychiatric Outreach Program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental, the Northern Ontario Francophone Psychiatric Outreach Program (le Programme psychiatrique francophone du Nord de l'Ontario), and the Extended Campus Program at Western University, as well as consultants and residents, to ensure that its goals and objectives are met.
OPOP is continually looking to expand the range of information about our programs and partners. Please visit our website for updates and new information. If you would like more information about any of our programs, please contact the directors at the co-ordinates given on the Contact page. If you have comments or suggestions about the website, please contact us at email: [email protected].
